Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist the legal team in reviewing and vetting institutional legal documents related to organisational operations and programme implementation.
  • Conduct legal research on relevant statutory provisions, case laws, and regulatory frameworks applicable to organisational activities.
  • Prepare legal briefs concerning ongoing matters and support documentation workflows connected with compliance requirements.

Interns at large philanthropic organisations like Tata Trusts are commonly involved in both advisory and operational legal processes, gaining insights into how legal advisory functions operate within large-scale development initiatives.

Eligibility

  • Students pursuing a three-year LL.B. programme who have completed at least the second semester.
  • Students pursuing a five-year integrated LL.B. programme who have completed at least the fourth semester.

This role is best suited for law students in their 3rd/4th/5th year pursuing a career in dispute resolution or commercial litigation, particularly those interested in combining legal training with public policy, governance, and social sector engagement.

Stipend / Compensation

₹30,000 per month

The internship will be conducted in Mumbai for a duration ranging from 2 to 6 months, depending on availability and organisational requirements, offering direct exposure to institutional legal work in an offline professional environment.
