Welcome to the Lawtrove Aug–Sep Internship — an exclusive opportunity designed for 1st and 2nd year students of the 5-year law program who are still exploring their interests, building their foundations, and looking to start their legal journey on the right foot.
Why This Internship?
Because legal internships are often inaccessible to young students. Most require prior experience, technical drafting skills, or even interviews that test things you haven’t learned yet. That’s not how we do it.

We offer a structured, beginner-friendly programme that introduces you to legal research, writing, tech tools, and presentation skills. Over the course of the internship, you’ll get experience with:
- Legal Blog and Article Writing: Learn how to convert complex legal issues into accessible pieces of writing. Get featured on our website and build your first public legal portfolio.
- Case Analysis and Commentary: Understand how to read judgments, break them down into digestible formats, and critically analyse them.
- Content Creation Tools: Learn how to create professional presentations using Canva and PowerPoint — essential skills for modern legal professionals.
- Public Speaking and Communication: Build your confidence and learn to speak clearly and persuasively — a foundational skill in all legal careers.
- Internship Kit and Real Feedback: Every intern receives structured feedback on their work along with an internship kit designed to support your learning.
