About Ministry of Civil Aviation

The Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA), Government of India, is responsible for the formulation and implementation of policies and programmes relating to civil aviation in the country. The Ministry oversees matters concerning aviation infrastructure, air transport services, regulatory coordination, and parliamentary affairs related to the sector. Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating Parliament-related work of the Ministry.
  • Liaise with Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, and the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs.
  • Handle and monitor Parliamentary Questions, Special Mentions, and Zero Hour matters.
  • Prepare replies, briefs, background notes, Records of Discussion (RoD), and Action Taken Reports (ATR).
  • Coordinate Parliamentary Committee matters, including meetings, visits, and oral evidence.
  • Assist in legislative work relating to Bills, Ordinances, and laying of papers in Parliament.
  • Monitor Parliamentary Assurances and follow up with concerned divisions.
  • Organize Consultative Committee meetings and related documentation.
  • Coordinate with various divisions and PSUs for data collection, submissions, and portal uploads.
  • Undertake other Parliament-related assignments as directed by the Ministry.

Eligibility

  • Postgraduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
  • Maximum age of 30 years as on 01 August 2026.
  • Minimum one year of work experience in a public or private institution.
  • Desirable Skills: Consistently strong academic record, good comprehension and writing skills, ability to draft high-quality reports, briefs, and presentations, proficiency in MS Office, including MS Excel, understanding of Government of India rules and regulations, knowledge of office procedures in government organizations, and ability to work under pressure and manage extended working hours when required.

This role is best suited for individuals with a strong academic background and work experience in a related field. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Stipend / Compensation

₹54,000 per month (all-inclusive).

Duration & Location

Initial engagement for one year, extendable by one year at a time based on performance, organizational requirements, and availability of funds. The location of the job is Parliament Unit, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan, Safdarjung Airport, New Delhi.
