Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide practical privacy guidance across core privacy processes and escalate complex matters where required
  • Manage lower to medium complexity Privacy Risk Assessments (PRAs) and stakeholder queries
  • Support Local Privacy Advisers with Records of Processing Activities (ROPAs), DSARs, incident management, and privacy notice updates
  • Assist in negotiating standard privacy clauses and contracts using established playbooks
  • Support implementation of privacy-by-design requirements across projects

Typically, legal associates in privacy roles are involved in drafting, reviewing, and implementing privacy policies, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
