Role: Legal Associate TYJ Delhi

This role is designed for legal professionals with 2 to 5 years PQE who are confident in handling corporate and commercial matters, especially litigation and due diligence.

Key Responsibilities

As a Legal Associate at TYJ Delhi, your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling litigation matters related to corporate, commercial, and regulatory disputes.
  • Conducting corporate legal due diligence for M&A and investment transactions.
  • Assisting clients with regulatory filings, company law compliance, and advisory under Companies Act, FEMA, SEBI, etc.
  • Drafting legal documents including notices, petitions, shareholder agreements, NDAs, and commercial contracts.
  • Managing and preparing compliance reports, checklists, and client updates.
  • Representing clients before tribunals, High Courts, and other authorities as required.
  • Researching and drafting legal opinions on complex issues in corporate and commercial law.

Educational Qualifications:

  • LL.B. or equivalent degree from a recognized law school in India.
  • Additional certifications in corporate law or commercial litigation (preferred but not mandatory).

Experience:

  • 2–5 years of PQE in a law firm or in-house legal department with a focus on corporate and commercial law.
  • Experience in both litigation and advisory work is essential.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong legal research and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent command of legal drafting and documentation.
  • Familiarity with compliance under Companies Act, SEBI, FEMA, IBC, etc.
