Role & Responsibilities

Law Officers at Indian Bureau of Mines are expected to have strong knowledge of civil matters, arbitration, labour law, and company law. The role requires a minimum of 3 years’ practice as an Advocate or 2 years’ experience as a legal professional.
Eligibility
- LL.B. (3-year or 5-year) with minimum 50% marks
- Must be enrolled with Bar Council of India/State Bar Council
- Minimum 3 years’ practice as an Advocate or 2 years’ experience as legal professional (PSU/Govt./Private organisation)
- Strong knowledge of civil matters, arbitration, labour law, company law
- Good drafting and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
This role is best suited for law professionals with experience in the Supreme Court/High Court in matters related to the mines and minerals industry, or those with experience in the legal departments of mining PSUs/Government departments/large private companies.
Stipend / Compensation
₹70,000 per month
Duration & Location
Initially for a period of 3 years, extendable based on performance. The location of the job is Indian Bureau of Mines Headquarters, Nagpur.
