  • Language Officer in the Law Department, Odisha
  • Translation work in any Group ‘C’ or Group ‘B’ post in one or more Government Departments

Language Officers at the Odisha Public Service Commission are responsible for handling various tasks related to language and translation. They must have excellent language skills in Odia and English, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a government setting.

Eligibility

  • Graduation with Odia as an Honours subject; or Graduation with English as an Honours subject and Odia as a Pass or compulsory subject; or Post-graduation in Odia and graduation in Law from a recognised university
  • At least seven years of service; or At least three years of service for candidates having at least one year of experience in translation work in any Group ‘C’ or Group ‘B’ post in one or more Government Departments
  • Candidates must not have completed 45 years of age as on 01.01.2026

This role is best suited for candidates who have a strong background in language and translation, as well as experience working in government departments.
