Role & Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and redline commercial agreements.
  • Manage Master Service Agreements (MSAs), leases, vendor contracts, NDAs, and related documentation.
  • Own and manage the complete contract lifecycle from drafting to execution and closure.
  • Advise cross-functional teams on legal, contractual, and compliance matters.
  • Support business operations with practical and commercially sound legal guidance.
  • Ensure legal documentation complies with applicable laws, company policies, and business requirements.

As a Deputy Manager – Legal & Compliance at Square Yards, you will be expected to work closely with cross-functional teams to provide legal support and guidance. You will be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of commercial contracts, from drafting to execution and closure. Eligibility

  • LL.B. degree (3-year or 5-year programme).
  • LL.M. qualification will be an added advantage.
  • 3–5 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE).
  • Strong understanding of Contract Law, Companies Act, Negotiable Instruments Act, and Arbitration and Conciliation Act.
  • Ability to independently manage contract and compliance functions.
  • Strong commercial awareness and business advisory skills.
