About NLU Delhi

National Law University Delhi (NLU Delhi), established in the year 2008 with the initiative of the High Court of Delhi and the Government of NCT of Delhi, is a premier law university in the country. Dynamic in vision and robust in commitment, the University has, in a very short span of time, shown exemplary promise to become a world-class institution. NLU Delhi has been consecutively ranked number two in the NIRF rankings of Law Universities in the country for the last eight years.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist in research work in relevant areas in consultation with the University.
  • Research and publish at least three papers (one Scopus-indexed and two international publications) in a year.
  • Contribute to other academic and administrative pursuits of the University.

Academic Fellows at NLU Delhi are expected to have excellent research and writing skills in the concerned field. They will be mentored by senior faculty members at NLU Delhi and will contribute to the intellectual growth of the University.

Eligibility

  • LL.M. with specialization in the concerned field from a recognised Indian or foreign university with a minimum of 55% marks.
  • Demonstrable research track record in the concerned subject.
  • Prior research experience including field work and data collection is highly desirable.

This role is best suited for law graduates with a strong research background and a passion for academics.

Stipend / Compensation

₹50,000 per month (subject to TDS deduction @10% under the Income Tax Act)

Duration & Location

Contractual and full-time for six months (further extendable) in Delhi.
