• Duration: Minimum 4–8 weeks (extendable based on performance and requirements of the firm)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
• Pursuing or completed B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) / B.B.A. LL.B. from a reputed law school
• Strong academic background with a demonstrated interest in corporate and commercial laws
• Previous internships with corporate law firms or in-house corporate transactions will be an added advantage
• Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills are essential
• Working knowledge of Companies Act, 2013, FEMA, SEBI regulations, RBI guidelines, and allied statutes
• Proficiency in using MS Office and legal research databases such as Manupatra, SCC Online, LexisNexis, etc.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in teams
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Key Responsibilities
Selected interns will be expected to assist the Corporate Wing in various aspects of legal and transactional work, including but not limited to:
• Conducting legal research on corporate, securities, FEMA, taxation, and allied laws
• Assisting in the drafting and reviewing of contracts such as Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), shareholders’ agreements, joint venture agreements, employment contracts, and other commercial agreements
• Supporting the team in providing corporate advisory services related to regulatory compliance, governance, and statutory filings
• Participation in due diligence exercises for M&A and investment transactions, including preparation of reports and checklists
• Assisting in compliance and filings with MCA/ROC, RBI, SEBI, and other regulatory authorities
• Drafting internal memos, legal updates, knowledge notes, and case law summaries for knowledge management
• Supporting lawyers in preparing presentations, client notes, and communication under supervision
• Exposure to corporate litigation support, arbitration-related matters, and regulatory proceedings as required
Stipend
• Stipend will be as per firm policy and may vary depending on performance and contribution during the internship. Exceptional interns may also receive recommendations for extended opportunities.
