Role & Responsibilities
- Interns will be trained in the field of research & referencing work, court functioning, tendering legal advice in various specialized fields of law.
- Interns will be required to submit a monthly report along with the research work assigned in this Department.
Interns at government departments in India are commonly involved in drafting, case research, and courtroom attendance. Exposure to tribunals like NCLT and DRT is particularly valuable for those pursuing insolvency or banking practice.
Eligibility
- Indian students who have passed 2nd year of a three-year law degree course and 3rd year of a five-year law degree course or persons who have completed a law degree course from any recognised college /law school/ university are eligible to apply.
- Advanced knowledge of computers (MS Office, infographics, Adobe, etc.) will be preferred.
This role is best suited for law students in their 3rd/4th/5th year pursuing a career in dispute resolution or commercial litigation.
Stipend / Compensation
The Interns may be given an honorarium of ₹5000 on completion of their internship.
Duration & Location
The duration of the internship is one month and will commence from the first working day of every month unless specified. The internship will be held in multiple locations, including New Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru.
