About University School of Law & Legal Studies

The University School of Law and Legal Studies (USLLS) is a part of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The ADR Cell of USLLS is a faculty-cum-student-run forum that aims to foster a vibrant culture of Alternative Dispute Resolution amongst the student community. The cell has conducted various drives in the interest of legal awareness and legal aid. Delhi, being the capital city, is home to various legal institutions, including the Supreme Court of India and the Delhi High Court, making it an ideal location for law students to gain practical experience.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Participate in outreach programs across various districts of Delhi
  • Raise legal awareness among target groups and local communities
  • Conduct field surveys on legal issues and access to justice
  • Document and report daily activities systematically

Interns at the University School of Law and Legal Studies will be involved in various activities, including outreach programs, field surveys, and documentation. This internship will provide law students with hands-on experience in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution and will help them develop their communication and interpersonal skills.

Eligibility

  • Students enrolled in 3-year LL.B., 5-year integrated LL.B., LL.M., or Ph.D. in Law programs
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
  • Preference will be given to candidates from Delhi-NCR

This role is best suited for law students who are interested in pursuing a career in Alternative Dispute Resolution or related fields. The internship will provide students with an opportunity to gain practical experience and develop their skills in a real-world setting.

Stipend / Compensation

Unpaid internship.

Duration & Location

The internship will take place from 15 July 2026 to 31 July 2026. The mode of the internship is offline (on-site) at University School of Law and Legal Studies, GGS Indraprastha University, C-Block, Main Road, Sector 16 C, Dwarka, Delhi, 110078. Interns will also be required to visit various districts in Delhi as a part of the outreach program.
