Position / Vacancies:
- Of Counsel – Litigation / Advisory Support

Eligibility Criteria:
- Law graduates with 8–12 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in litigation or advisory services
- Comprehensive understanding of court procedures relevant to the designated city
- Strong legal drafting, research, and analytical abilities
- Fluent in English and proficient in preparing legal documents and opinions
- Ability to handle legal matters independently and provide strategic input to clients
- Prior experience in multi-practice law firms or handling complex litigation/advisory assignments is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Independent Case Handling: Manage litigation and advisory matters autonomously, including client communication, case strategy, filings, and representation before courts or tribunals.
- Legal Advisory Support: Provide expert guidance on corporate, civil, commercial, and regulatory law issues, aligning with AMLEGALS’ practice areas.
- Court Proceedings: Appear before courts and tribunals, manage procedural requirements, and ensure timely compliance with all judicial orders.
- Client Engagement: Maintain regular communication with clients, provide updates on case progress, and offer strategic solutions for legal challenges.
- Documentation & Drafting: Draft pleadings, legal opinions, contracts, notices, and other legal instruments with accuracy and precision.
- Collaboration with AMLEGALS Team: Work closely with the regional team to align on case strategies, client deliverables, and internal reporting requirements.
- Training & Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior associates and interns, helping strengthen their practical knowledge of litigation and advisory work.
- Professional Development: Stay updated on latest case laws, amendments, regulations, and legal trends affecting client matters.
