HPNLU Shimla is excited to announce the call for papers for the Sixth Volume of its annual journal, Shimla Law Review (SLR) (ISSN: 2582-1903). We invite submissions from faculty members, researchers, judges, legal professionals, and students across various categories.
This volume does not adhere to a specific theme. We welcome manuscripts offering an interdisciplinary approach to contemporary socio-legal issues, theories, and developments. - Lead or Special Articles: 15,000-20,000 words
- Articles: 8,000-15,000 words
- Case Comments: 6,000-8,000 words
- Notes and Legislative Comments: 6,000-7,000 words
- Book Reviews: 2,000-3,000 words
Submission Guidelines:
- Theme: There is no specific theme for this volume; all submissions related to legal developments are welcome.
- Abstract: Include a 250-300 word abstract with your electronic submission.
- Covering Letter: Provide a covering letter with the paper’s title, author(s) details, institutional affiliation, and a declaration of originality. The manuscript should not have been previously published or submitted elsewhere.
- Acceptance Communication: Acceptance decisions will be made by the Editorial Board and communicated electronically. The Board reserves the right to reject manuscripts at any stage of the review process.

Submit your manuscripts electronically to editorslr@hpnlu.ac.in. Ensure the email subject line reads: “SLR Vol-VI, 2024: Submission of Manuscript.” Manuscripts should be typed in MS Office, double-spaced, with a left margin of 1.5 inches.
