Key Responsibilities

Interns selected for this opportunity at HS&NS Law Office will gain a wide exposure to real-world legal practice. The tasks include:

  • Attending court hearings and proceedings across Gurugram and Delhi NCR, and preparing case summaries.
  • Engaging in direct client interactions under supervision, understanding case requirements, and assisting with document collation.
  • Drafting legal documents such as petitions, replies, applications, written statements, and notices.
  • Conducting comprehensive legal research on case laws, statutes, and emerging areas of practice to assist seniors in case preparation.
  • Supporting litigation teams in preparing case files, reviewing documents, and managing case-related records.
  • Handling administrative and document management tasks related to ongoing litigation.
    This internship is designed to ensure a holistic experience where interns are not limited to research alone but are also exposed to client communication, drafting, and courtroom culture.

Stipend and Benefits

Interns will be provided with a stipend of ₹5,000 per month along with a travel allowance to cover conveyance costs associated with court visits and client meetings. In addition to monetary benefits, interns will receive valuable mentorship from senior lawyers and associates of the firm, thereby gaining insights into practical lawyering that cannot be acquired from textbooks alone.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates interested in applying must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  1. Undergraduate Students: Those who have completed the second year or 4th semester of their bachelor’s degree with at least 85% marks in their 12th-grade exams.
  2. Graduate Students: Candidates who have completed the first year or 2nd semester of their postgraduate program, or those pursuing research/PhD, with at least 70% in their graduation.
  3. Recent Graduates: Students who have recently completed their graduation/post-graduation and are awaiting admission to higher studies may also apply if they have secured 70% or more cumulative marks across all years/semesters.

It is essential that the gap between the announcement of the final examination result and the internship’s start date does not exceed six months.
