Internship Details

Location: New Delhi
Start Date: 1st July 2025
Duration: Minimum 1 month (longer commitments preferred)
Mode: Both On-site and Remote options available
Number of Vacancies: 4 total (2 for each mode)

Practice Areas Covered

During the legal internship at A.S. Legal New Delhi, interns will assist in matters involving:

  • Taxation disputes and filings
  • Civil litigation and procedural filings
  • Criminal defense and trial preparation
  • IPR matters including trademark and copyright filings
  • Arbitration and alternative dispute resolution

Interns will be exposed to the full lifecycle of a case — from client consultation and legal drafting to hearing preparation and document review.

Eligibility Criteria

This internship is open to:

  • 3rd year and above students enrolled in a 5-year law program
  • 2nd year and above students enrolled in a 3-year law program

Applicants must have a strong academic foundation, good research skills, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

Stipend & Perks

  • Stipend: Applicable to on-site interns only, and based on performance
  • Certificate of Internship for all participants
  • Letter of Recommendation (LOR) for high-performing interns

Intern Responsibilities

Interns at A.S. Legal will be responsible for:

  • Conducting legal research and summarizing findings
  • Drafting legal documents including petitions, notices, and client correspondence
  • Assisting in case preparation for court hearings and arbitrations
  • Supporting client meetings and drafting meeting notes
  • Organizing and maintaining digital and physical legal files
  • Handling communication with external counsel, clients, and third parties as needed
  • Taking on ad-hoc tasks in alignment with legal project goals
