About the Role

As an Associate in the General Corporate and M&A team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting a broad spectrum of corporate transactions. Key Responsibilities

Your key duties as an Associate will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive due diligence reviews to identify and address potential legal risks or issues.
  • Providing advice related to corporate governance, compliance under the Companies Act, Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), SEBI regulations, and other relevant laws.
  • Coordinating with clients, external counsel, financial advisors, and other parties involved in transactions.
  • Supporting senior partners and legal teams in deal structuring, negotiation, execution, and managing post-closing matters.
  • Keeping abreast of regulatory changes and industry trends impacting corporate and M&A laws.

Eligibility Criteria

The ideal candidate for this Associate position should fulfill the following criteria:

  • Have 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in General Corporate and M&A legal matters.
  • Hold a recognized law degree (LLB) from an accredited university.
  • Demonstrate strong drafting, research, and analytical skills to manage complex corporate transactions.
