Position / Duration:
- Legal Internship
- Commencement Date: 1st September 2025
- Duration: As per mutual discussion, suitable for 1–3 months or longer depending on performance and firm requirements
Eligibility Criteria:
- Law students in 3rd year or above (5-year integrated course) OR 2nd year or above (3-year LL.B. course)
- Prior Supreme Court internship experience is an advantage but not mandatory
- Strong research, analytical, and drafting skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with senior lawyers
- Keen interest in litigation, advisory, and specialized areas such as white-collar crime, environmental law, and constitutional law
Key Responsibilities:
The intern will be actively involved in a variety of legal tasks, gaining practical exposure to high-level legal practice. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive legal research on Supreme Court and High Court matters, including case laws, statutes, and regulatory frameworks
- Assisting in drafting petitions, affidavits, written submissions, briefs, and legal documentation for ongoing litigation
- Preparing case summaries, notes, and legal analyses to assist in strategy formulation
- Supporting senior advocates in matters related to white-collar crime, environmental law, and constitutional law
- Coordinating with the internal legal team, clients, and external counsel for case management and preparation
- Observing and learning the practical nuances of Supreme Court practice, including filing procedures, hearing protocols, and court etiquette
- Assisting in reviewing and analyzing legal documents, contracts, and regulatory compliance materials as required
This internship is designed to provide a holistic learning experience, combining research, drafting, and direct exposure to courtroom proceedings, enabling interns to understand both the theoretical and practical aspects of legal practice at the highest level.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the internship, interns will be able to:
