Who Can Apply?
The NITI Aayog Internship 2025 is open to students from recognized institutions in India and abroad, provided they meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Undergraduate Students: Must have completed/appeared for the second year or fourth semester; should have scored at least 85% marks in Class 12
- Postgraduate Students: Must have completed/appeared for the first year or second semester; should have scored minimum 70% marks in their undergraduate degree
- Graduates/Postgraduates awaiting admission: Eligible if they’ve secured 70% or more in their latest qualification and are not more than 6 months away from the completion of their final exams
- PhD Scholars are also encouraged to apply, especially those pursuing work relevant to public policy, economics, development, law, or governance
Note: The internship must begin within six months of receiving final results from the last qualifying examination. Interns should not currently be engaged in full-time employment.
