The admission process involves an All-India Law Entrance Test (AILET). Candidates who qualify the AILET will be eligible for admission to the desired programs.
Undergraduate Programs
- B.A.LL.B.(Hons.) Program: 120 seats (110 on AILET merit, 5 each for Foreign Nationals and OCI/PIO)
- B.Com.LL.B.(Hons.)-Non-Residential Program: 60 seats (50 on AILET merit, 5 each for Foreign Nationals and OCI/PIO)
Eligibility: Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 system) or equivalent with 45% marks (42% for OBCs and 40% for SC/ST).
Postgraduate Programs
- LL.M. (One Year) Non-Residential Program: 80 seats (70 on AILET merit, 5 each for Foreign Nationals and OCI/PIO)
- Joint Masters/LL.M. in Intellectual Property (IP) Law and Management (Non-Residential):
- Master of Law (LL.M.) in Intellectual Property Law and Management: 35 seats (25 Indian Nationals, 10 Foreign Nationals)
- Master of Arts (M.A.) in Intellectual Property Law and Management: Eligibility criteria vary based on the degree.
Eligibility: LL.B. or equivalent law degree with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities).
Supernumerary Seats
- One seat for Kashmiri Migrants
- Two seats for Residents of Jammu & Kashmir
- Five seats for Officials of CGPDTM (for MA in IP Law and Management)
Admission Process
- Online Application: Submit your application before November 18, 2024.
- AILET: Appear for the AILET on December 8, 2024.
- Result: Await the AILET results.
- Counseling: If selected, participate in the counseling process.
