Key Responsibilities

As a legal team member, your responsibilities will include:

1. Drafting and Reviewing Legal Documents:
   Prepare, vet, and review various legal documents, including service agreements, vendor contracts, employee policies, NDAs, and internal memos.
2. Legal Record Management:
   Maintain and organize the company’s legal documents and databases, ensuring records are up to date and accessible when needed.
3. Compliance Support:
   Collaborate with the compliance team on internal audits, regulatory checks, and documentation for statutory obligations.
4. Interdepartmental Coordination:
   Liaise effectively with departments like HR, procurement, finance, and operations, and communicate with external legal consultants or agencies.
5. Court and Departmental Representation:
   Represent Suraksha Diagnostics in courts of law, quasi-judicial bodies, and relevant government departments, as and when required.

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university
• 0–2 years of post-qualification experience (freshers with relevant internships may also apply)
• Strong command of legal drafting and compliance fundamentals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be based in Kolkata or willing to relocate to New Town
• Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Bengali is essential
