Role Overview:

GLG is seeking an experienced Commercial Lawyer with at least six years of post-qualification experience in transactional or corporate commercial law. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive legal support to GLG’s business operations in India and globally, ensuring that all contractual and compliance activities align with the company’s global policies, ethical standards, and commercial objectives.

The role involves collaboration with global legal, finance, compliance, and business development teams to manage risk, streamline processes, and safeguard the company’s interests in complex transactions.

This is a highly visible position offering the opportunity to work on cross-border deals, engage with senior business leaders, and shape the company’s commercial and compliance strategy within a fast-paced, technology-enabled organization.


Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: LL.B. or higher degree in law from a recognized and reputed university with an excellent academic record.
  • Experience: Minimum six years of post-qualification experience as a transactional or commercial attorney, preferably with a multinational corporation, consulting firm, or top-tier law firm.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, corporate governance, and commercial transactions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with modern legal technologies (Contract Lifecycle Management platforms, AI-driven legal tools, etc.).
