Position: Dispute Resolution Associate

Key Practice Areas

As a Dispute Resolution Associate, you will work on a diverse range of contentious legal matters, including:

  • Arbitration (Domestic & International): Handle end-to-end arbitration proceedings, including drafting arbitration clauses, interim applications, and final awards.
  • Commercial Litigation: Appear before trial and appellate courts in cases involving contractual disputes, shareholder disagreements, and business torts.
  • Insolvency & Bankruptcy: Represent clients before NCLT/NCLAT under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), including creditor and debtor-related matters.
  • Regulatory Disputes: Work on matters before sector-specific regulatory bodies such as SEBI, TRAI, CCI, and environmental tribunals.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Appear before courts, tribunals, and arbitral forums.
  • Draft legal notices, pleadings, written submissions, affidavits, and client advisory notes.
  • Conduct extensive legal research and case law analysis.
  • Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and external counsel.
  • Maintain case files, hearing schedules, and compliance checklists.
  • Prepare strategic litigation briefs and assist in client meetings and consultations.
  • Stay updated with the latest legal developments, especially in arbitration, IBC, and commercial litigation.

Candidate Profile

To be eligible for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: LL.B. from a recognized law school in India.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years and up to 5 years of PQE in dispute resolution, litigation, or arbitration.
  • Skills Required:
    • Excellent command over English and legal drafting.
    • Strong research and analytical skills.
    • Ability to argue matters in court (under supervision or independently).
    • Client communication and coordination abilities.
  • Bonus: Proficiency in Kannada will be an added advantage for court coordination in Bengaluru.
